Hi...have been reading the forum over the past few weeks researching my purchase and finally got my car at the weekend..

51 plate X5 4.4 ...what a beast !...well chuffed and it looks good parked next to my neighbours Prius ...who is now so ashamed to live next to a big V8 petrol burning monster..

He'll feel a bit better when I get the lpg fitted !

Could someone please point me in the direction of a good indy down my way..Reading or Oxford area would be good..

    All the best
    GA....

Welcome buddy, just see it as restoring the balance! , although that Prius has almost definitely killed the planet more than your lovely V8!!

    Welcome to the forum.

I remember the Prius and M5 being raced around the Top Gear track and the M5 coming back with better MPG anyway so i wouldnt worry about it.

Thanks for all the welcome messages...this forum has been a great reference place before my purchase and look forward to contributing in the future..

    E36 lover,
I live in Crowmarsh just outside Wallingford so Crosby Engineering sounds like the place for me !..will go and see them and get them to do a quick check over for me.

Been chatting with Oxford Autogas as they have done plenty of X5 lpg conversions..will let you know how that goes.

    all the best,
    GA..
