    im a former rx7 owner bought a 85 rx7 SE (13 b) did exhaust ( full ) and upgrade to hks air flow meter and k&n filter and a few other minor things..... now that car was fast loved to drag lol . i got rid of the mazda because well you may know it is a head ache and i had to use it for a get around car bla bla bla ... anyway so i got rid of it went out and said im going to buy a car that will not break so i got a 01 325 i slapped some 5 zigen's on it and drove....i had my car for 4 years then i meet this kid with a 00 vr6 with a nice NA set up and hes tellin me about auto cross and how bmw rules at the events ...so i looked into it and now i think i want to get into it my friend says i should give it a try stock see if i like it and if so i should tune my car ..... what i wanna know is my car a good car for auto cross and what are the first steps i should take thanks for all the info from what i read you guys know your stuff

    I'm not sure on the whole autocross thing, can you clarify what autocross is/involves because in the UK we have auto testing which is like this.

    Sure you can use it for autocrossing.
    With success too

    Have you had a look in the competition forum section on here? Theres a full detailed guide about setting up a BMW for events and competition.

    I will dig out the link and post it for you
