    hey everyone

tis an E34 525 TDS SE

    this un...
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=150308468102

I decided on the BMW 525 TDS as I liked the look of it over the E36 318 and 325's which were available for around the same price.
Am hoping to look into running it on vegetable oil in the near future, anyone else tried this? (I haven't tried searching the forum yet before someone says 'search for it' )

have been around for years on various other car club forums (VVOC, MVOC, Vectra-SRi where I was an area rep, VxON, SXOC where I'm currently an area rep, Driftworks) under the same username or sometimes just Graham when its been available so some of you might of bumped into me in the past

Have had plenty of different cars in the past, never seem to be able to stick with any 1 car for very long before getting bored and moving on...

    Cavalier 1.6 Hatchback

Also, got an Aprilia RS125 as I haven't bothered taking the bike test yet.

most reliable was the Mitsubishi Carisma, but that was brand new so sorta cheating there lol

Picked up the BMW last night, was driving home this morning and got pulled over for apparently not having MOT (plates were changed so MOT was still in the post, actually arrived this morning at previous owners house!) and the cop checked over the car
AND gave me a vehicle defect notice for leaking injectors! grrrrrr

ok fair enough once he pointed it out I could see they had been leaking a bit, never noticed it before :( but I think that means that until I get it sorted and stamped etc I can't drive the car?

Other than that though I'm well happy with the car, did about 8 hours driving it in last night and this morning. Smokes a little when its hard on boost but not terribly much and hopefully that'll clear up.

That will be the leak off pipes most likely, get some new pipes and you will be sorted

was lazy and had it done by the garage, they stamped the ticket for me too and also sorted out the mileage display for me (mentioned in ebay ad that its a bit iffy) as I couldn't be bothered figuring out how to get into the dash myself.

cost £122 in total though :(
next time I will do whatever work is needed myself, just really got the garage to do it this time as I wouldn't really of had time to do it myself (as I only get the 14days allowed by the police grrr)
