Evening all new to the forum so thought I'd say hello

Having had a 3 series in various guises as a company car for the past 6 years ish I have opted out and bought a 3 Series M Sport Touring as needed a bit more boot space

All my company cars have been SE spec or below so wanted a few toys this time around, eventually found a Business Edition with a few other little bits like privacy glass, heated seats etc.

Unfortunatley due to 'budget restrictions' I could only really stretch to a 318d and being used to the punch of a 320d it feels slightly unpowered at the moment but as the power is the only thing I could address retrospectively via a remap I thought it the best option.

Couple of questions if I may, and I have searched honest,

It's a 2009 facelift car and from what I've read I thought the Nav was hard drive based but there is a DVD in the glove box ??? not really bothered either way and in fact I think you can update the maps easier via the DVD model ???

Also I am unsure if a remap is available for this age vehicle yet, if there is who does it please and what sort of BHP is achievable

And lastly any recomendations on tow bars would be good as will be towing the rally car from time to time

    Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to the forum....
    Nice car

    I like mine.....

Have a word with one of our forum vendors with regard to your remap. I believe that a few of them can remap this car via the OBD port - not sure of the gains though.
I have used Witter or Towsure for towbars in the past, but have no experience on the E91 models I am afraid....

Depends on the month of build. If you pop the bonnet and look for the month and build date sticker which should be on the underside of the bonnet I can tell you if your car can be remapped. Drop me pm if you want

Just been mooching through the handbook and came across independant ventilation/heating system ?

Am I right in thinking you can set the AC or heaters to come on a pre set times ?
