    Hello everybody,

my name is Ladi and I'm originally from Austria, live since 2007 in Scotland and I'm computer admin.

Last year in May I bought myself an MY 11/94 E34 525tds in Oxfordgreen with "only" 117.500mls on the clock and from 1st owner who looked after her.
Now, nearly a year and 70.000 mls later, aye, 70k and this in less then a year - I love roadtrips
However, now after this year I decided to fix the old girl up and as it get's hard finding parts at scrapies and the prices on ebay are heavier then gold I decided to register on this forum and hope to find some help.

It's not my first BMW all started when I lived in France, I had and E30 318i (MY90) then followed by an E30 318is what got sold here in UK for peanuts. Then I had an E34 525is in red and to be honest I still sometimes ram my head into the wall and ask myself why did I sell it...
Now it's the 525tds; I know it's not the best engine, however, I manage with not a very slow driving to average 40mpg and look carefull after the temp as according some german forums the engine like to crack; litteraly.

Will make a few pictures this weekend probably and post them, however she got some rust (in rust we trust...) under the arches; one of the things I would like to fix. I actually plan to invest 1k into the car and spool another few 100k on that engine and body.

I was concidering to buy an e39 M57 Diesel, however, I just don't like the shape of it; and I don't really need the high tech in it. I always liked older cars and for me personally the old 5 series BMWs are much prettier then the new ones.

    So, here I am.
