Got my own way this year. Last had a bmw 6 years ago, a 1992 E36 318i. My wife passed her test 5 years ago and picked our last 2 cars, a mk3 mondeo (not a bad car for a ford) and a freelander (the devils work).
So my turn, an E46 318i SE with 17'' wolfrace alloys. I fell in love with it and had to have it. Brought it home and in retrospect I paid too much for it, but it looks and drives like the dogs bollocks.
My wife refused to drive it the first week (called it a piece of snobby shit) as she still had the freelander, till' the ebay mug picked it up.
After a few days of driving our bimmer, she is now a bmw convert. Just hope the economy picks up as iv'e seen her watching X5's on ebay!

You paid too much and your letting her drive it?
You might get ribbed for that but don't take it personally.

    Welcome along.
Clear your heads and get ready to run.
Remember, the best times are yet to come.

I have to admit, I do love the look of the E46, Especially passing you in the outside lane on the motorway, If I could have any, I'd choose and e46 shape M3, Absolutley stunning, Although... The M6.. Whoarr!
