    Hello everyone, new owner and thought I would introduce myself.

    I have just bought my first BMW. Its a 96 323i Coupe with 123k on the clock.

    Came with a stack of history, vehicle was service by BMW to 2008, indies and DIY till now. Body is in good shape with 1 small rust spot and nothing nasty hiding under the sill protectors.

    Car wears 16" BMW style 25 alloys and came with a set of 15" wheels in the same style which I plan to use for M&S or track tyres. Engine feels good and pulls well with no smoke.

    I am going do all the normal service stuff before I start using it everyday, also;
    • NS front arm bush has excessive wear, going to polybush all round.
    • NS window regulator seized, motor and wiring ok.

    See you in the forums!

    Tom

    Thanks for the welcome messages.

    Took her out this afternoon and stopped to take a couple of shots. Not looking too bad but could do with a clean. Wont be doing that until work is finished though.

    Welcome along Thirsky.

    Oh, black car, guess you'll be washing it often then.
    Clear your heads and get ready to run.
    Remember, the best times are yet to come.
