    Hello,

Thought I would just drop a quick message as I purchased my new 116i m sport end of last month but am unfortunately waiting patiently for it to be ready at the end of the month! I can't wait to pick it up and have wanted one for quite some time. This is my first bmw and can say will be the start of a long line of bmw's

    Thanks

    Bradley

Probably not the best BMW to start with 116i, won't really give you the BMW experience.

    What makes you say that?

Bit small and weedy, not really what BMW's are about.

    1st of all, Welcome!

I agree with Petrolmarty. Buying a small engined BMW is like buying an American muscle without the V8 engine...It won't sound or go as good. I should know as I have an e36 316i. Saying that though, it's a step in the right direction as it's better than buying an Astra or Focus hatch + BMW seem to be going for 4 cylinder energy efficient engines nowadays which is still as fast as the larger engines from the past. Have fun with it and I'm sure you'll enjoy it If the speed won't put a smile, I'm sure the cornering on the country roads will
