    Hi guys,

I'm Taz, a 24 year old first time BMW owner having just bought a black E36 323i SE estate (90k miles) with plans to pretty it up. I'm not talking big bodykits and huge exhausts but making it look really classy.

My plans are fairly similar to what a user calling himself DayMoon has done. If you're reading this DayMoon, beautiful job on your car!

A couple of my beginning plans are to replace or refurbish all the exterior trim including all lights, plastics, wheels etc and to get it looking as-near-as-damnit brand new. The interior needs a fair bit of work, this has been a well used car in its life, the tan leather interior is looking a bit sad in places but all repairable, replaceable and financially viable. From the outside, I want it to look like an M3, but black, and an estate if that makes sense. If I'm right, the E36 M3 front bumper will fit straight on but as for the rear bumper and side-skirts, I'm not sure anything similar or compatible exists.

These are a few of the parts I've sourced and intend to fit so far:

Planning to powdercoat these black with the rims of the wheels painted red (17"):

This is actually CF but will look better than in the picture once it's on my black car.

I also plan to fit smoked rear lights and black window tints for the rear windows. The interior will be staying fairly standard but refurbished, apart from the ICE.

Something I need to ask, being a first timer noobie, is does the E36 estate share rear light clusters with the saloon or coupe? I certainly can't find any bespoke non-standard clusters for the estate anywhere.

Thanks in advance for any answers on this!

Thanks, do you know where I can find non-standard rear light clusters for the Touring? Preferably by mail order if further north than Surrey?

I would stay standard or just go for the M style with clear indicator lens,
