Exactly, I was just reading on another forum and people where saying that Porsche use spacers a lot and have never had problems people use them on track and have no issues obviously there has been problems but there has been problems with everything on cars let alone spacers people where also saying that they where using 2" ones and they where fine and 20mm isn't even an inch also they seriously knew what they was on about they weren't just a load of rejects talk out there arse

As for the arches the people that are doing mine (archenemy) seem to do really good work I had a look on there website and on there gallery they have done loads of e46's I think it even says that it's pretty much all they are doing at the moment so I'm pretty shore they won't rust, who cares anyway I'm just having a bit of fun if the car falls to bits it falls to bits

I never knew about these obc (on board computer) functions that bmw's have, why is this not a big thing I sware loads of people don't know about it, I didn't until today and I haven't gone messing around with it as I don't know how to fully use it but it seems to be that when I look on google about it a few people say it's hidden functions (whys it so hidden?), but it looks seriously good if you know how to use it or at least really handy

Haha what thing was you on about velocity? Edber that's quite a good thread it's surprising how clever the computer is I did code 2 the cluster system test and you can also make it so you have a digital rev counter where your miles are which is pretty cool, I also heard you can reset your pedal as well apparently if you put the key in turn the key twice wait 10 seconds turn the key back twice then do the same thing again but after the ten seconds switch the car on then the next few drives the car will read how you use the pedal then respond to your driving better, not sure how true that is just what I read

I think its more for the diagnosis of the car for a garage guy to check sensor readings without needing tools and stuff like that.

Hi again people, after my thread floating of into the unknown I thought I would dig it out again basically I had a very busy Christmas and just thought I would enjoy my car as it is for a bit I think it's now time to do a little change and get it remapped tomorrow hopefully they have space to fit me in.

I know there are probably negative things about getting a remap before any one lectures me but I haven't had one before and I feel like the car needs it until I upgrade to a higher litre I also know it won't make a huge difference but I have wanted to try this mod out for a while, also does anyone have any experience on finding an exhaust I'm finding a bit of a struggle I don't want to spend huge amounts on a full straight through exhaust I also don't want my car stupidly loud I just want to here that straight six purring abit more basically a bit louder I also don't want some horrible sweeper back box I just want something normal looking basically like the standard one, twin but maybe half an inch bigger on each tip anyone selling one or know of a good site I can get one, thanks
