The bmw i should image is more fun in the snow with the traction control, I felt safer in the snow in my old E36 than i have in any other car in the snow but if your steady and dont act a prat wheel spinning and skidding everywhere you should be able to enjoy it. As for the hill bit im not looking forward to that part, Most of the roads where i am now living are hilly lol.

its nearly as good as that here mate tbh, Were ment to be getting snow friday but will believe it when i see it, its cold but it was also mentioned that we was ment to get snow 2 weeks ago and still waiting for that lol. I like it but it seems to last to long, If it was down for a few days 2 or 3 i would be happy but last year back up north where i used to live we had it for nearly 3 months lol

Where I am is really hilly as well I think it's just England all together, next year I might get some winter tyres but this year I'm going to see how it goes I'm definitely not going to be driving like an idiot I might not even drive at all some days my mum has a 4x4 so if I need to get somewhere I'm shore I can blag a lift up down where I am the snow doesn't seem to be to bad they get the grit lorries out pretty quick and the roads become safe quick I just hate it when the snow starts going and the sludge starts building up, black ice is a killer as well (literally) also I sware further up England is bad for snow and I'm right at the bottom

Yeah weather reports are wrong half of the damn time and almost 3 three months of snow? damn, were i am it snowed for 2 days last year and mostly turned to slush the same day, the north definatly gets more snow i too am near the bottom south east. reminds me wen i was 17 and stupid i tried doin a powerslide on a road and as the car started goin side ways i counter steered but not enough, panicked a bit and pressed the brake like an idiot at this point the car was out of control and i crashed it to a fence :(, i was only goin 10 or less mph during the skid and crashed at about 5 so damage was very minial but hey ho u learn from ur mistakes

Your both near the bottom, Im nearer the bottom now in Kent near London. Why not do what i done a few years ago, wait till its late i went out about 1am to halfords car park and had fun with my car, i had the old bmw E36 back then. Doing power slides and all sorts but there were no cars, no street lamps and no fences where i was doing them so if i spun out it didnt much matter ever since doing that iv become more confident in the snow.

Haha rob I bet that was actually quite fun I would like to do that as there is a huge Halfords and b&q car park just down the road as long as your not an idiot and just have a bit of fun I suppose it won't hurt, shore the 5.0 wouldn't be to happy lol but oh well and you are right putting yourself in hard driving situations can make you a lot better at your average driving situations when I was learning to drive I actually started to prefer driving into big built up areas that where hard to do at the time so then when I went back to smaller towns I was a lot more confident
