oh and another subtle mod is to change the chrome window surrounds to black. I had a look at mine the other day when you asked me where mine is and it runs from the wing mirror across the top of the doors round the back along the bottom of the roof where it sits on my bootlid then back round to the other wing mirror

Yer see your car looks fine with it but mine stands out like a saw thumb so it has to be done, no matter what it costs obviously to some extent but I don't care it needs doing lol I might actually make that my next thing also I think every single person has different tastes on cars and mods everyone likes to put there own little touch in to make it there own, as for the drag slag what sort of style is that have you got a picture you can out up of one like it?

    OYeah rob these cars look bloody aweful when over modded. Heres a list of wat i personally would do wen i get the e46 and obviously some spare cash;

    - carbon badges
-tint windows black not too dark though
    - smoked indicators front/side/ possibly back
    - chrome indicator bulbs (hate that egg look lol)
    - MSport kit if not the m-sport spec
    - Csl reps 19/18"
    - black kidney grill and window trim
    - powerflow air filter
    - angles eyes
-Chrome surround on speedometre if it doesnt have it already
    - possible get the exhaust resonator deleted for a slightly deeper sound
    - them little tree air freshners, has to be vanilla scent

U lads might agree that this isnt over the top yet it has an idividual look

Fair enough mate, there's nothing better than waiting ages for something then getting it you appreciate it so much more the actual waiting isn't good though lol also got my aux belt changed today and because I got that done I just got the rad bled and new anti freeze for the cold winter done I only have a bull joint, bush and something else to change then my car has no issues what so ever which is good I'm also going to get new pads and discs all round at some point as there not looking or working to there full ability

Totally agree mate. U r one of the few people on this forum with a low milage e46 hence litteraly no faults. Also mate how do u think the acceleration is of ur 320? Does it pull strong or just average?

Il be totally honest with you mate if you have the money get something bigger but you will be happy with a 320 I have driven every sort of car from Clio's and 106's to lambo's and porche's so I have an idea on what is very quick, average and slow I'm also not a huge dreamer so I know I'm never going to have the power of a lambo hence why I'm happy with what iv got but at the same time i know I'm not going to beat everything on the roads, I'm not 100% on what valve these engines are pretty shore there around 20 so a 2.2 litre heavy car is not going to be amazing bottom end like an 8v is bottom end so to get something around 20v that's rapid bottom end I think you need a 325 upwards but when I get into the 3-4k rev mark she pulls hard but bellow that I can have trouble accelerating to over take etc which is a shame but I just have to be ready for it i have noticed with my bmw that slowly pushing the accelerator down is a lot better than doing it fast in my other cars a could just put my foot flat and it would go but these almost bog out I just ease it on slowly then at 3k slightly faster and it goes, it's probably not as bad with the higher litres though and your best bet is to test drive a few different litres and see what you think your self

Ahh cool ok, and i think these 6 pots have 4 valves per cylinder. The torque isnt too amazing probz why it has poor low end pull... but then it does have 170hp which is double the amount iv had on some of my previouse carz, just have wait and see lol

Also uv driven a lambo damn that must of been awesome

I agree mate test drive def, I test drove the Vectra c altho i hated the fact the steering wheel doesnt move ie goes in and out nor up or down, you have to adjust your seat to your steering wheel but other than than they are ok, the 1.8 is ok but nothing special where as the 2.2 is so much nicer to drive.
