    Hi, just got my first ever bmw.
    A fine 318is (e36 coupe) it gone a tad pink, sun dosent like red.
    Dont know if its worth postin a pic.
    Got it to satisfy my track bug goin to do the usual to it, mainly get the weight down.
    So i may need sum tech help every now and then.

    I wish, its gone pink! Pink as f@ck.
    ill post a pic tommoz, for a laugh.
    The pink crusader will visit a track near you soon!

    Does any one think its worth paintin matt black?
    Mayb satin black?
    Gotta b better than pink.

    I agree, My e34 is the solid green colour (nautic green) & was a bit faded though probably not quite as bad as yours. A pleasant morning with the polisher & farcella G3 cutting compound soon had it back up to scratch. Personally don't like matt black or satin black as a main body colour, it always reminds me of the really cheap & nasty spray jobs you used to get in the 80's that never shined or worse still the person who thought they could spray their whole car with aerosols. Get it mopped, then make a decision - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

    defo get it mopped,i did an audi years ago that had gone white in places but it all came back to nice shiny red!
