Just wanted to say hi. Look forward to reading a few threads and finding out more about my car.

Is it custom for the newbie to upload a picture on me?

Have had my E46 318ci sport for 3 weeks so far and still loving it.

I am looking to change a few things as time goes by and had a few questions...

1.Have BMW ever changed the alloy wheel fitments on the 3 series models? As I have my eye on some E90 3 series alloys. is there anything I should know?

2.I have seen Youtube videos with a 3 series which has a autoboot function (boot opens fully with the press of the key using springs?)
Are these available to buy anywhere?, and can you recommend a good BMW (E46) online retailer for modding and spares?

Theres a thread someone started last week on those springs for your boot look back through the 3 series section and wheels will fit as long as their 5x120 pcd which all bmw alloys apart from mini are then theres offset probably best reading up on it this combined with the width will determine if they fit or rub best keeping as close to the original

    E46 fitment
    5x120 pcd
Width vary from 8 to 9.5J (inch)
    Offset ET47 to ET50 (most et35 to 50 fit)

    E46 convertible 330ci
    E46 coupe 325ci

    E46 coupe 330ci
    E85 Z4R 2.2i
