Hi guys. I have a 530d E60 auto. The sat nav takes ages and sometimes doesn't pick up the route at all. Dealer says CCC needs replacement but costs about a third of car value. They gave me the part number. Could anyone please help! Thanking you in advance of your assistance .

my satnav works and I still use tomtom as BMW satnav is crap.
do you have any cabling modifications? I read somewhere that audio cables can interfere with GPS signal. I have to say I use fm TRANSMITTER for my music and on certain frequencies my GPS does not work. Also, I would perhaps check GPS antenna first and all cabling from it to the satnav itself. maybe try googling how to hard reset your satnav so you get rid of the logs stored?
