I have recently bought a 2006 520d SE and am concerned about whether I'd have to contend with expensive repairs as time goes on.

I expect to keep this car for many years and go up to 200k miles [its currently only done about 60k].

Would it suffer from injector failure, turbo failure, maybe even the dreaded swirlflaps breaking off?

Depending on what responses I get, I may conclude that its better for me to switch to a petrol 5 series even though they're are less economical.
