    hi wondering if anyone can help me
    when driving sometimes the throttle pedal seems to go very stiff and makes it feel like ive pressed the pedal too hard ?
    is it fly by wire or is it on a cable
    the car is 1999 328i se

    Fly by wire I think mate, I know my 2001 is. Kinda takes away from the whole driving experience, I think it would be much better with a regular setup.

    its hard to explain but when driving its seems to need a lot of pressure to dress the throttle pedal then other times very little pressure so when changing gear seems to bang its self in to gear and or feels like a delay in clutch ????
    any ideas

    I have a e46 323 and had the same probs. throttle cable was knackered. £8 from BMW and fitted it within half hour. Job done
