    Hi,

Just bought a 323 as above. Manual 'box, dark blue. Outside is a bit tatty but well equipped otherwise. I won't bother with pics yet as you all know what a stock E36 looks like! It had no MOT and had stood for a year, put it through 2 days ago and it passed 1st time! only advisory was front pads getting low.

I'm keeping to a fairly strict budget but I've ordered coilovers, bought some 8J ET20 style 32's, a chin spoiler and I'm on the lookout for a cheapy LSD.

I had a 316 Saloon and a 325 Coupe about 5 years ago so reasonably familiar territory.

Will get some pics up once the suspension and wheels are on

Have you changed your side and front indicators to clear? I have it made a difference to the look, nice cheap mod.

I was just gonna smoke them, what do they go for?

Don't wanna end up spending loads, I have a silly project build I'm doing so I'm trying not to spend cash on the Beemer

Problem is I have a soft spot for them. What I shouldn't have done was join a BMW forum and start buying bits for it!!!!!!

Oh well, I'll just have to try and use some restraint!

You don't want to hear about doing an M50 manifold conversion then

I have heard, i take it BMW restricts the 323 intake to detune the engine rather than building a 2.3 lump. I've done a quick search but didn't bring up much. I guess you gain about 20bhp. What do they go for?
