Hi, new to the forum and in need of a little help/advice please. I've just got a 1998 E36 323I and it needs a service badly, but can't for the life of me find any figures on the amount of gearbox/diff oil to use. Don't really want to drain them then find I bought too little.
    Thanks, Michael.

They both take 1.1 litres mate. Remove the fill nut before you open the drain plug so that you know you'll be able to refill it once its been drained.

Fuchs or Castrol website normally give good volumes

I've copied your thread/questions and posted them in the E36 section as this section(Introductions) is purely for that.
