Hi guys, Ive been meaning to get signed up to this forum for a while now, but never really got round to it! Anyway Ive been into BMWs for about 4 years now, got my first E36 318iS cosmos black when I was 17. Ive grown out of ridiculous wheels and vulgar exhausts now, and come to appreciate the timeless asthetics of the E36, so my current project is mostly trying not to stray too far from OEM BMW, Im currently seeking out all the original options in order to retro-fit and end up with an even higher specced car than I started out with. When I bought the current car, it had one previous owner from new, 47k Full main dealer SH, and the car was literally flawless, the only sign of usage on it was that the tires weren't brand new, and one stone chip on the bumper. Since my ownership I have started to make some significant changes to the car, although at the same time tried to maintain the originality, by that I mean what I have changed I have mostly changed for OEM BMW of the period, rather than parts from newer BMWs which IMO dont suit the E36. Anyway enough of the gibber, heres the car! The first pic is the original pic from the ad, and the following are last week, exactly one year on from the first pic!

    Cheers!

    Lewy

Hi mate, thanks! yeah they're from an E34, the dimensions are 17x8.5j et13 on the front, and 17x10j et15 on the back. I had the arches flared quite substantially, aswell as fitting the stretched tires, at the moment the rears do rub to be honest, but only with rear passengers, after my MOT today, I will be fitting a stiffer set of Eibach springs to try to rectify the situation, and if no joy with that, then what better time to go for a set of coilies!

lol I skimmed through your intro and picked out 'don't want to stray too far from OEM', then scrolled down and thought you'd posted pictures of two different cars!
Very nice modifications so far though.
