Hi all, i'm from wigan and looking to buy a 320d e46. Looking at an 05 plate going through an auction with 112k on it, Just want to know what kind of problems you'd get with an old bmw like this, it says it's had a service at 20k, 41k and 60k which was last done in 2010, I'm just worried about the 60k jump in mileage on it. What would you expect to pay for something like this too? sorry if it's posted in the worng section.

From what Ive learnt from other posts on this site (tap in turbo failure) regular oil changes are essential on the e46 models( or any car for that matter). I hope someone with more knowledge replies to your post, I have a 2003 e46 and have learnt that they are not as bullet proof as they could/should be. Maybe the one you are looking at has been improved in design and has been looked after well. 60k with no sign of a service sounds like a gamble.
