    hi everyone i recently sold my BMW E36 compact and i have saved some cash for a newer model, soon i will have roughly £5000-£6000 to spend and i am looking for some direction on what model to get and also what to stay away from, i am looking engine size 1.8-2.0 nothing much bigger than that due to insurance costs. any help will be greatly appreciated, Thanks

    the 02 03 models are well down now on price, great car to drive, and a bit of class

    ive been too busy looking at the 3 series coupes they seem more common for the price range im looking at but i will definetly have a look into the 5 series
    im not too sure about diesel ive looked at a few but ive been driving petrol cars for 6 years and im scared of being 1 of the many numptys that puts petrol in when im filling up thanks alot for the replies
