Hi Mike and welcome to the forum

There are a lot of Tourer's comming out at the moment as the e36 wagon is becomming popular for some strange reason.

You may need to look at some maintenence issues if it hasent had full service history and hasent been looked after but i would look at oil and filter, check break lines, discs/pads and try to give the old girl a nice tidy up. See if the utility belts have been changed, also water pump and thermostate as its worth changing them if not done so giving it a new lease of life.

There are several owners on the performance bmw forum

And i shouldent need to mention Photo,s but sort that bit out please, and only after she had had a good wash and polish

    Hi mate
Thanks for the quick replies, picked it up and it drives like a dream, the only thing is its pretty hard to get into reverse??
I've tried pushing it down etc etc just hard to slot in! Is there something I need to check or do?
    Thanks

Gonna service it tomorrow can someone please advise a good oil to use for the '97' 325tds engines? I don't wanna skimp on cheap oil as its quite an old engine

    Thank you
