    Hi

I Just bought my first BMW diesel and wanted a balance of of power & economy so i went for a 330D 2008 E92. I got to say i am impressed with the desiel power plant but now shifting my balance im looking for some more power gains .

I just wanted to ask the veterans on the forum a few things:

Is there a big difference between rolling road vs plug&play remaps?

Are there any other compliementary mods that will give me a good bang for my buck?

    Cheers

    Vik

A proper remap is best choice for economy and power. £300 ish will get you 35-50 Bhp and a smooth drive with decent acceleration.

Thanks for the reply, anyone got a view on the downpipe for E92 330d on Ebay (Downpipe DPF Removal BMW 325d 330d 530d E90 E92 E91E93 X5 X6 E60 Exhaust pipe | eBay), seems reasonable at £300 or is it better/cheaper to get someone to remove the DPF?
