    Was your R1 the injection model or carb? I think mine's quick enough as it is.I do have a tailtidy and Akropovic exhaust which sounds superb full chat.

    last of the carb model on a 02 plate! but stripped it down and had frame+fittings powder coated black and painted fairings pearl black myself( nobody made all black bikes back then now there everywhere)
    when im on my feet again im getting 2004+ R1 they are mental things to ride but for now il stick to my down geared firestorm

    soon to be painted retro stylie ;-)
    in middle of doing a e36 compact at mo tho so got loads on my hands

    Wow love the all black R1!! Much better than the silver (alloy) frame.

    Stunning bikes Kev!!

    I better shut up about bikes or i'll get banned, and i've only just joined!
    Now.........back to the M5, i love them!

    ps! try a smaller sprocket on the front it will feel like someone strapped a turbo to it

    Went down a tooth on the front sprocket myself on both of them.... The acceleration on the Mille is awesome, truely stomach turning..... A recommended upgrade.

    This thread has not wandered as much as some have in the past

    thats ok then dont want to be thrown off for talking bike shite
    yeah sprockets are the way forward mate changed mine last nt £12 just been on it much nicer to ride round town now!
    prob keep it just chuck renthals on it

    Look, just point me in the direction to where someone sells glasses that remove all silver from your view.

    You know, like those tinted driving specs for glare/sun/night etc.
    My money's ready.

    (I don't like silver cars for anyone who's just joined)
