    Hi all,
    Just thought Id say hello.
    Just bought a 2007 120D M Sport in silver.
I had a Toyota Auris, but decided it was time to buy a bit of quality. Test drove an Audi 2.0TDI A3 and then the 120D - The BMW was best, no question!

Im loving the car, although the stiffer ride takes time to get used to!

Also, my first of possibly many questions - I get a little bit of wheel wobble above 60mph and the car feels as if it is slightly vibrating. any thoughts?

It was back to BMW in Aberdeen yesterday for a brake fluid and exhaust filter change (which they forgot to do when I collected the car) and I asked them to look at the wheel wobble. They said they could not find anything wrong and all was well?

Strange - I had a 118D M Sport with 18" alloys as a loan car whilst mine was in, and that was straight as a dye, no wobble at all.
    Your thoughts greatly appreciated!

I will post photos soon, once we get a sunny day!

    Regards

    andy

Hello and welcome Andy ...front or rear wheels? List of things to check are correct tyre pressures, balance weights are not missing, jack the car up and check for play on the wheels (bearing/s).

    Cheers mate,
its the front wheels. BMW checked it over and all they did was adjust the pressures.
The wheels still have weights on them, maybe I will get em re-balanced?

Yep...that would be my guess first before re-alignment.

Hello andytran and welcome to BimmerforumsUK,

Are the wheels standard alloys on your 1 series?

Hi mate, yes they are the standard 1 series M Sport 17" jobbers.

When I get the chance, they will be going for re-balancing.

I will let you know the results!
