Hello everyone, Had a look around the place and thought it was about time i joined in.
Over the years i've owned over 30 cars and one of my favs was a e30 318is,
so now i'm thinking of getting another bm.
But which one? The budget i've got is about £4500 ish.
    Thinking of maybe a e36 m3 or e46 325/328 coupe? .
Its all abit new to me having been into old Rs fords for years, i really don't know which bm to look for.
    Anyway cracking site CheeRS Richard.

hi and welcome mate!, e36 m3 is an awsome car!, e46 325 will not be any where near as fast or sporty, but does look a lot newer!, its your choice

    Welcome mate,

Looks like you're just down the road from me - I'm Ipswich area

If you can afford the servicing and insurance costs, then an E36 M3 would be an awesome car and should be able to find a decent example for your kind of budget. Failing that, you should be able to find a tidy E46 325 easy

    Hi rssred, welcome,
If I had the cash you have, I'd look for an earlier 3.0 M3 (E36)

they can be troublesome, but only if not cared for, make sure the vanos is in top notch condition and budget for having to get the vanos sorted so that it won't fail, keep regular checks with it and you will be fine!, 3l m3 is troubleless but, most upgrades for it come from the evo version! eg suspension setup, etc!
and they are newer, rust spot etc!
