Hi ,just been hit by BMW dealership for mega costs to replace my run flat tyers with only 17k on them!!
I am still convinced that the tyers sensor monitor does not work ,but up against a brick wall there!
Anyway, can anybody suggest a non run flat ,and what are the legal implications ,if any?

Assuming you have 19'' wheels? Its an extremely common problem! No flex in the tyre wall meaning the tyre cannot shape to the camber of the road and ends up running primarily on the inner edge causing uneven wear.

Way around it and to save your rims from cracking is to fit non run flat tyres as most have done. The difference in the ride quality is like chalk and cheese. I'm on normal continental 5's and never looked back! Falkens are a very good mid range tyre and get very high reviews!
