    .... my first Bimmer!

    Evening all,

I have been enjoying a Mark 2 TT for the last 3 years and now it's time to order some new wheels. I will be sad to say goodbye to the TT as it is a stunning drive, but the build quality has been shocking and the ever growing ubiquity of the TT means I must move on.

I have opted for the 3 Series Coupe and was lucky enough to have a 325i M Sport 2010 Facelifter in black for a weekend the other week.

Sold on the Coupe, just now trying to decide between 325i and 330d as they cost almost identical on my Company Car scheme.

I live in a beuatiful little village in the middle of the pennines (you may have seen the chef of my local on BBC2's "The Great British Menu" recently) and am into cars, work, music, cooking and Technical Scuba Diving around the UK's cold and dark coastline.

Glad to be close to full up membership!

    Clean.

    Welcome to the forums Clean

Most members would give their right arm for your dilemma and you'd better park new beemer at the bottom of the hill
in winter as you won't be driving it up where you live when it snows

Brings back memories, the eternal choice between 325i and 330d. That was always the two on my company car lists before I opted out. I always went the 325i route, a colleague the 33od route. You have to work the 325i harder for sure, but the sound is glorious. The 330d is just a torque monster, and given the choice now I would go the 330d route. My neighbour has an E92 330d, and I am seriously impressed with it
