    Afternoon all,

Thought I'd join up on here as well since I've been a member on another BMW forum with a very similar URL for quite some time.

My name's Steve, I'm 27 and live in sunny Hampshire. Here are a few pictures of the car:

    Just after I got it:

    Last year at Gaydon:

Whenever I post these same old pictures it reminds me that I really do need to get on and take some decent ones. Maybe I'll do that once I've got the sport mirrors on.

Lovely looking car! I take it that it's back on the original wheels like the last picture?
I'll keep an eye out for it, don't see too many 8's around.

    Thanks for the welcome guys.

And yes, I do now have the throwing stars fitted. I quite liked the look of the other wheels but the offset/centre bore/rear width just wasnt right and going back to proper 8 series wheels improved the handling no end.

I managed to pick up a bargain set of sport seats this weekend as well but it'll be a bit of a project getting them refurbished ready to be fitted. I'll probably post a thread about my car in the 8 forum in the near future with more details about what I've done and what's planned for the future.

    Steve
