    Hi All,
    Just saying hello and have just come back to the BMW fold, previously had an e30 325i (long time ago) and an e46 M3. Hopefully the 335d will be as enjoyable. The torque wave and acceleration are proving good so far

    rumpleforskin, no I went via Merc C320 CDi and Laguna DCi GT (unreliable piece of French junk) Funilly enough day after I bought the 335 I drove past my old M3 parked outside an audi garage lol. In all honesty dont think you can replace the screaming engine noise from the e46 m3 but love the growl of the diesel 6 at about 3k rpm :-). As a daily driver though and real world performance wise I suspect the 335d will be hard to beat.
