    Hi there,

I have just bought my first BMW, its a 2008 320d m coupe. I was told it had 8k miles but when i turned up to take it away it actually had 18k miles.... BMW have offered me a slight cash figure as an appology and either of the following two.

19" M sport wheel with second hand tyres for free, or brand new 313 alloys with brand new imchellin tyres for £800.

My question is what would you suggest. I know the 313 wheels cost about £3k to purchase, but i wouldnt keep them and im not really sure what the resale market for genuine bmw wheels is like. Should i just get the standard 19" with second hand tyres and keep my £800 or go for the 313??

Any help or opinions greatly appreciated.

Which M Sport wheels are they offering? I think that I would have them and sell them on - easy money TBH...

they are offering the 225m wheels which they have professionally refurbed for free, but with second hand tyres
or the 313 wheels which are brand new with brand new michelins for £800.....

really dont know the more sensible choice out of the two, which is why i asked on here

If the 225M's are refurnished to a good standard without cracks in the rims then I personally would get them, that way you haven't paid anything for them.

I have seen these fetch around £600 with decent tyres fitted to them.

I would go for the £800 brand new ones, just cause I'm the opposite of Frugal.

    lol.

But then again, if the "19" Msport wheels" are the newever version of the MVII's I'd probably go for them cause i loves MVII's myself.

I don't know what they're called, but they're like MVII's but more "dished" like deeper in the middle (was parked next to someone with them at the weekend and had a bit of a look) - the ones i'm thinking of had a "1" on them where my MVII's have "13" I think.

Anyways, I'd suppose it's all down to which yu prefer and if the 313's float your boat.

I wouldn't personally get them to sell, but i'm just lazy like that.

i was thinking of getting the 313's to sell because as stated the cheapest you can get them for new is just shy of £3k... but i have no idea what the resale market is like for genuine bmw wheels... Im sure most people would expect a sizeable discount on new
