    Hi guys & Girls,
Just picked up the above car 2003 (53) with 43k on the clock the car looks & drives immaculate but being my first beemer then I don't know what to compare to.

    My question is:
What things should I be looking out for on this car
Is there any tasteful mods that can be done

    Thanks for your time

    John

    Welcome.

Is your car a 2003 facelift with the rear "Celis Lights" and upswept indicator lenses on the front lights?

Yeah it is the facelift version even though I don't know what has been face lifted ( sorry for my ignorance) very new to this. What are upswept indicator lenses?

    Thanks

Just googled it, yeah I definitely have both the mentioned changes.

"Tasteful Mods" is something that You Must decide as you are starting off with a car that already looks good without any fettling.

Most common and (relatively?) easy to do seems to be Angel Eye Insertions in the headlamps, but as these models are Very Well established there are lists of Modifications as long as BOTH your arms! clubsport Splitters, coilovers, sport back-boxes etc. etc. But I will stick my neck on the line by saying that a well scourced set of wheels with a good offset will turn the most heads .

    Good luck
