    Can anyone tell me whats best to do the orange light comes on after 5 miles for 3-4 seconds the mileage is 90'000 woods bmw bournemouth said bring it in at a cost of £1'600 i only use the car 2miles to work and back is this a cause looked on line and saw that you can have it removed for £400..
    Whats the best way to go ?????

    Don't go to main dealer for starters! If you only do 2 miles a day why did you buy a diesel? That aside it is best removed at that mileage as it is never going to regen, alternately you could get it cleaned and refitted but you would have the same issue again in the future.

    I would also get an independant BME specialist to clean your EGR valve, at 90k and low mileage driving I can bet it will be clogged up and rsitrciting your power
