Just posting to introduce myself, as I may bother some of you for help / advice at some point in the future.
My names Wayne, im 26yrs old and live in the Midlands. I've just bought a 2003 320d for some cheap motoring. Also due to the fact that I have a 16mth old baby girl and rumour has it that BMW's are reliable and safe :P (I imagine there are some horror stories to contradict this viewpoint though!).
Car history is fairly standard, lower end peugeot's, moving up through the models until I settled on the 406 coupe (2.0l). This soon got sold and I purchased the big 3.0l V6 which I ran for a few years, until I decided to get rid due to high running costs. I then held a personal mini-boycott off not owning a car for a year, whilst I worked on my fitness by cycling to work everyday.
I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking (Downhill and XC), computer games (Yeah yeah, some of us never really grow out of those!) and spending time with my family.
Work-wise, I am a logistical analyst for Pirelli Tyres. I have worked my way up through the levels, starting as a warehouse operative, to now being in the responsible position I currently am in.
Um, thats about it really. I used to be a very active member of my old club (www.peugeot406coupe.com), involved in arranging several meets and also attending the larger ones (Mainly FCS). Although I do admit, the last year or so I have been relatively inactive due to life commitments.
So I hope to speak to you guys soon,
I'll post up some pics when I can, but its a standard car.
