You need to check the spec of your car because the 1st owner could a bought an SE model but added the sports suspension as an extra but not the m-sport bodykit

My 1st e46 318ci was standard SE model but had all the m-sport extras like sports suspsension, alloys and seats but had the SE bodykit

My 330ci came with its extras booklet and the extra 3k you paid new for the m-sport it just gave you the aerobody kit,18 inch alloys, the black cubed dash trim and sports seats etc included for that price but some SE model could have cost alot more new having more costly extras when ordered i know the extra book says the sports suspension was standard on 325 and 330's for both SE and m-sport models

So in a nut shell someone could have a 318 m sport but only have minuim spec, stereo, manual half leather sests etc but someone could have a 318 SE model that had all the extras full leather sports seats, mytle wood dashboard or gloss black trim, sport suspension, satnav, dvd etc so may not look as pretty but spec wise destroys the m-sport with basic spec

    E46 convertible 330ci
    E46 coupe 325ci
    E85 Z4R 3.0i
    E46 coupe 330ci
    E85 Z4R 2.2i
    E46 convertible 318ci
    E85 Z4R 2.5si
