    hi i have r problem wit my bimmer, recently its been misfiring and the rpm have been as low as 500rpm especially when strting it. then i just recently noticed tht when i reach speeds of about 100km its starts to jerk and does not respond to acceration.please help..n thankx.

    Acceleration could be dirty idle control valve look at videos on youtube easy diy

    Misfire could be coil packs are failing try 4 new allumium bosch style coil pack instead of the old bremi plastic end ones get a pack of new spark plugs should be fine after happened my old 318ci take you 1hr to do it yourself

    Coil packs £15 each
    Spark plugs £3 each
    Labour 1 hour £40-70

    thankx il try tht n il surelly get back to u.innitially i thot the jerkin durring higher speed was due to transmittion oil being low but the i found out the transmition oil is a liftime one meaning its nt nessry to change.could this cause the jerking? cz wen am driving normal speeds its fine but wen i speed up the problem comes i press the accerlerator pedal but no increase in speed just the ravs goin up..thankx
