    Hi all,

Put a few posts up the other day, but thought I'd best be courteous and post in here to say 'hi'.

Have come from years of owning a Mitsubishi Evo, so the 323i has a lot to live up to! Not had a good thrash in it yet, but as a motorway cruiser it's been ace so far.

Anyway big 'hi' to everyone here.

    HI and welcome Mike

Well, a stock 323i wont be as fast as a Misu Evo but it sure is built a lot better

Also, if you fancy dropping some money into it you could always supercharge it for a big hp boost

    Thanks.

The 323i is very solid compared to the Evo. Obviously the Evo was very quick too. I do miss all that torque and I find that Ihave to rev the 323i beyond 5k to get any decent acceleration, but for the time being I need something that's good for motorways and the odd b-road, so it fits the bill.

I think the car will be staying pretty much stock for now. Not much spare cash these days, but I have to say the charger kit I've seen does look pretty tasty
