    Hi ,

I have a 320d e46 has been lowered before i bought it, on 18". Since buying the car there has been a wobble from the front drivers side , which has got worse and worse . I took the car to my friend (works in garage) he said the suspension arms need replacing and also the track link and track rod ends so i had him do the work after the new parts were fitted it felt tighter but still when going over bumps large vibration so he diagnosed rear trailing arm bushes so i had them poly bushed which made no difference at all after reading threads on here i today changed the antiroll bar bushes it now seems worse than ever to the point of when i hit a bump at speed the car sort of skips to the side wobbles about then returns to normal (dangerous)
I have the track rods ready to be fitted but have used a bar on the old ones and cant find any play , when the car is jacked up there doessnt seem to be any unusual play in either wheels . When i changed the antiroll bar bushes the bar itself looked very worn is this normal have ploughed a lot of money into this car and dont wanna get rid just very hard to find whats actually moving , the front shocks were replaced by the previous owner and look very new so dont think its shocks hope not someone please help beginning to think my "friend" is taking the p*ss

I presume you have had all four wheel balance and re-tracked? that would be the first thing to do, also are the brakes OL, if you get a siezed caliper the vibration is mega when the disk heats up

dont think its balance related although this needs to be done the amount of vibration that im getting would probly knock it out again it seems to be coming from drivers side and it doesnt happen unless i hit a bump braking on a flat road is smooth . i havnt had it tracked because i havnt fitted the track rods yet my friend done everything but the track rods i have them in my boot he has taken my car 3 times to do them and has had an excuse every time , was going to fit them today but when i got under car realised i would need a new boot which wasnt supplied with the arms while there i used a big bar and couldnt get any play they will need doing asap , anyone have an idea how much bmw charge to do a diagnosis thanks for your help!
