Hello people, just a short note to introduce myself to the place. My last BMW (E36 316 SE) was unceremoniously written off by a drunk driver ramming me last year and led to 8 months in a new shape astra (don't ask). The lack of excitement was crippling. But a trip to a car dealership to pick up the girlfriends Toyota Celica T sport a few months back had me introduced to one of those 'Christine' moments. Parked up in the forecourt was a BMW I would happily have parked up at home in place of the Vauxhall. I know a lot of fans of the BMW marque are totally against my particular weapon of choice, but in truth? I don't give a rats ass. I love it. So I am now the proud owner of an E46 325 compact ti sport. Suddenly driving is fun again, albeit with an awful lot more fuel stops than I have been used to.
One thing extra I should mention though. I was (and still am) into motorbike riding in a big way. I learned the hard way that an accident on a bike invariably has an effect on at least one limb. Being housebound with a busted leg or arm is a serious pain in the arse, so ever since my big bike accident many years ago, I always go for an automatic. It does take some of the fun out of things, but at least you stay mobile when injured. Ironically, I haven't had a bike accident since I started driving auto's.

If this has worked I have 5 pics in here with this text, one of the write off and 4 of my beemer.
