Great money pit you have there! Welcome!
There are only two products required to make the universe work properly: Duct tape and WD40.

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.

Probably the most correct comment about the car. If you have some free cash floating around, this is an awsome way of throwing it away, and fast, and basically non stop.

But again, thanks for the comments, I can't wait to get it running again. It was a bit of a bummer (putting it mildly) that the engine gave up just at the beginnig of the track day season.

fantastic work hats off to you for doing the work yourself,i imagine huge frustration and great pleasure all at the same time.
from what i know of da motorsport he has a realy bad reputation for shoddy work and ripping people off around the world.i had an asa turbomex supercharger last year that i looked at fitting and in my researtch da came up time and time again.

Very tasty work there Fart and nicely done going down the twin turbo route (I love my twins). Sure it may be a lot of money and work now but think of the final result when you have it all spot on. The money, time and effort will all be worth it.

Very nice car. By all means, don't value my opinion, but have you considered swaps? An LS3/6/7 would get you the performance you crave and more at a fraction of the cost. Maybe that's just texas talking.

You're gonna get stoned to death for such a proposal on BF!

Just kidding, but I reckon most of the people here are quite proud of the BMW power plant, and wouldn't want to swap it for anything missing the little roundell. I definitely wouldn't.
