Hello everyone, My name's Aziz and I just switched over from japanese to german cars because I'm tired of my transmission going bad on me:-/.

I just purchased 1994 E36 325i. Its my first beamer and I'm really excited to do a lot of upgrades and mods to.

I wanted to start off with changing the headlights. Can you please give me some suggestions on what kind of headlights I should get, HIDs, Angel lights, projector lights, a combination? what should I do? And what other fun inexpensive mods can I do for now.

Hi mate, welcome to the forum!
Pics of the car are mandatory!

Reliability wise, 325's are pretty bullet proof, so good choice. Regarding the headlights, I'd suggest something more OEM look and angel-eyes (it's a BMW, it has to hve angel-eyes ), IMO they look the best. Maybe with a slight black tint, if you find anything. I personally hate the chrome ones..
There are only two products required to make the universe work properly: Duct tape and WD40.

If it moves (and it shouldn't): duct tape.
If it doesn’t move (and it should): WD40.

    Everything else is just stuff.

try and keep the lights looking as standard as possibe some of the aftermarket lights look really chavvy on bmw's espacially those all in one lights and indicators, someone near where i live has got them on a really nice vert and it has ruined the look of the car.

welcome to the forum and the world of beemers

Thank you guys very much for the warm welcome I'll take some pics today and upload them.

Can you guys give me some links of where I can buy good quality headlights? I want the angel eyes but I also want to see whats in front of me. A friend suggested projector lights with Angel eyes. what do you think?
