Hello fellow bims enthusiasts!
I'm laths and my car is a 1990 E30 320i cabriolet in brilliant red.
She is fresh as a daisy on the outside with a clean and very Brilliant, brilliant red paint and has only done 97k. Had her a few weeks now and she is fine, went for a BMW service as i don't know mechanics very well which is something i REALLY want to be able to do better.
BMW Cooper Cobham quoted me £5500 to make her 'like new'.
Upon taking her to a few other garages i have been told everything is basically fine apart from a few minor things which she is having done today and tomorrow.
My plans for her are swap all bushes for powerflex counterparts. Lower 35-40 over Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. New tie rods. Xenon headlights. M-tech 1 front spoiler. Some BBS RS's (dreaming one day). Pressure wash and Waxoyl the under carriage. A nice headunit. And slowly replace the parts BMW said would need to be changed to make her new. This is to be done over the next few years and any experience/advice anyone has of these modifications would be greatly appreciated.
Let me know what you think, here are a few pics:
