    Hi all,

I'm a newbie and I must confess I signed up to get some advice on whether to scrap or sell to a brave project enthusiast a poorly neglected 1986 E30 325i saloon . Photo link below I hope. A bit of background - the car belonged to my parents and I have to get rid of it as trying to clear out house. It's been off road for 8 years or so and I think it was a cylinder head job needed that condemned it in 2003'ish. 140k or so with rust to lower door skins and rear number plate area - probably a fair bit more but I haven't looked properly. Driver's seat shot and others not great. It's in poor condition but bodywork still seems pretty solid for its age and I imagine most of the parts (none removed except torch and tool kit) are nearly all serviceable. It'll need towing!

I have happy memories of the car - was pretty fast for its day and I was lucky enough to be allowed to drive it as a youngster - God knows what the premiums would be these days for an 18yr old!!

    Is the car worth saving?
Does the car have any value for parts?
What's a fair price for its current state?

    Cheers for any info/advice.

I would save it mate my car was going to be broken by the bloke and I brought it off him and have loved it ever since I would put it in the garage and restore it back to it's former glory

I think you'll find most people will say don't scrap it and fix it back up but if you don't have the space then whatcha gonna do ?

You can't sell the car on here as you have just joined but stopping someone messaging you is another story so good luck with whatever you decide to do m8 and persoanly I wouldn't scrap it even if it was just on my front garden covered up.

Thanks Button Below, Be a Sport...
