    Hi

New to the forum, I hope to be getting a 135i soon.

I've looked at a few but wondered if there any must have options I should check for?

I also plan to modify. Have anyone else on here done much to their 1 series? I'd be interested to see what.

    Thanks

    Bert

    Welcome.

It's a prestige car, so I'd want heated leather, a Nav, PDC etc.

Any particular reason you're going for a 1?

    hey bert! welcome

if i had the cash i'd be looking for one with usual leather an gadgits an all, but look also for BMW Performance additions like the 6 pot brakes! and the seats... i'd also save about £900 for an LSD from birds BMW!

    jus my 2pence!!

Well it's good to have you on board - I thought you were trying to sell cheap tuning or something but my fault I was just caught in an odd moment - sorry for being a tw*t

Probably best to put down what you actually own and post an introduction with pictures! Again sorry for the hostile reception

Thanks for the welcome guys. A much better response than on another forum I posted on!

Answers to some of the questions. Why a 1 series? To me the 3 is getting too big. I don't know the sizes but the size of the 1 reminds me of the old E30 which I once had.

ECU upgrade, yes I will do but will do some supporting mods first also. Thinking exhaust and intake. Options available please?

BMW performance upgrades. 6 pot brakes? Not seen that before, interesting and I will research that.

LSD, does this make them a bit twitchy?

For the time being it is all just window shopping and deciding what I want to do once I've bought it.
