As per the title I have recently purchased a new (to me) 330d M Sport Coupe in Sparkling Graphite.

Had a Porsche Boxster previously but need the extra seats now and wanted something practical and performant and BMWs were really the only serious contender that ticked all the boxes.

Very pleased with the car so far and it had a long stretch of the legs recently packed to the gunnels with enough junk to fill 3 Boxsters (and I'm not sure where the skis would have gone ). The performance leaves me with a smile on my face and I think that is no mean feat given my previous car.

Not a fan of iDrive but I'm sure I'll get used to it and I have a small niggle at the moment that I'll post about after I've done a search but otherwise the car is fantastic and I probably should have done this sooner (my son is 19 months old now) but for a long time I kidded myself that I would still use the Boxster.

    See you around.

    Ivor

    Thanks!

Little niggle has sort of gone away as well - lost both headlamp washer cover/nozzle combos and my local garage refused to replace under warranty. Still waiting to hear BMW's customer services opinion on that but since posting I tried another localish dealer and they are happy to replace them subject to a brief inspection which is basically to verify the car hasn't had a bump - 2 weeks lead time though .

    Thanks for the welcome

Car needs a good clean after treking half the length of the country but here's the dealer piccie in the meantime ...

... albeit slightly out of date without the two gaping holes in the bumper!

Cheers - set out for a black one originally but really liked this colour when I saw it in the flesh and it was in absolutely mint condition, other than a slight scuff on the passenger door card (which I can no longer find now it's been touched up) I still haven't found a mark on it.
