    Hi all
My E39 was collected today as I asked them to look at the bushes on the front.
Man what a mistake as they think it's coming from the suspension but not sure then when I get my car back the steering rake is making a noise & when I touch the brakes same noise ???
They told me that they lubbed all the bushes & joints but give me my M5 back sounding like a frigging tank & the garage is only 1 mile away from my work but nearly 1/4 of a tank of fuel gone ??
They take the biscuit !!! Don't take your motor to BMW at Heathrow unless you want it broken.
There was just a squeaking noise at first, now it sounds like a party going on. :-(
    Call them selfs specialist ????

You lubed the bushes and joints of a 1960's British Leyland car, not sure how you lube the bushes and joints of noughties M5!

They obviously had fun at yor expense.... think Ferris Buellers day off

Got to say that if I had a M5 I would probably only take it to a garage that I had used many times before or a main dealer, too nice a car to take to a garage that I had never used before or are they your regular garage

Lol at all of the above, how true about the bushes but try not to think of Ferris Buellers day off From what i gather you send your beloved M5 into a main BMW dealer yes?? Well seeing as they're only a mile away get back in there tomorrow and ask to speak to the owner of the garage and complain. If these things aren't addressed then it will just happen to someone else, so don't sit stewing in silence mate.

    Best of luck with it

My Indy Is superb, No problem showing me what's wrong and also getting In the thick of It while they work, very good and also helps If there's a technical problem to understand It rather than baffling people with science which generally gets greeted with stone cold silence.

A mate of mine uses an independent specialist in Hounslow. He rates them very highly. Reply if you want the details.

When I had some work done the mechanic (legitimately) took it for a test drive.

I had a great laugh, at his expense, when I replayed back the footage ,from my onboard camera; he was singing along to Adele on the radio like a real Karaoke Queen!
