Snuff Mill garage in Sheffield is an excellent bodyshop

    Tried and tested, many times!

but it may be too far for you in East Yorks?

Mmm you will be lucky to just get away with re - laquering depends how bad it is but ive never got away with this in 25yrs. ive always ended up re base coating the colour then laquering. If your laquer is flaking you have no chance of sanding it without damaging the base coat. Getting a base coat to match a car more than 3 yrs old can be difficult so its some times best to re base coat the whole car or lower half etc. If its dull it may buff with out the need to re laquer. Is the paint work original to the car? The cost of the base coat is not that bad but it means having to paint the car twice thus more time involved. But the end result is it all matches when its parked under street lights as appose to looking like its been a right off at some time in its life & had a dodgy repair.
It all depends on the car & what the customer requires.
P.s Im on the border of yorks/lincs Doncaster/Scunthorpe if you require more info pm me.
