Thanks for the info, I'll keep this in mind mate.

Cheers Bader. I've only heard good things of Autotech and this Forza West looks very reasonable indeed!!

anyone know what the bmw specialist in carmarthen (wembly services) are like as i purchased my car from them a month ago and its last 2 stamps are from them.
as far as i can say they where very helpful and honest (they usually are honest ) they explained all the pros and cons between petrol and diesel and also recommended the 330d over the 320d for reliability. they also told me what where the main faults and they where aware of the oil breather problems and they replaced this at no extra cost with a vortex type.

but has anyone used them and can they say if they are any good?

also i live in pontypool (near newport) and as this post is originally a year old is there a good service center near me? i want a proper service with a stamp and service reset.

I've got my E46 320D booked in with Autotech in Caerleon for swirlflap removal and a brake fluid change next week. I've heard good things about them and the correspondence has been very good so far so I'll let you know how things go in terms of customer service mate.

Been to Autotech in Newport today and had my swirlflaps removed, a new crankcase breather fitted and a brake fluid change. Excellent service and nice people to deal with. Had a good chat with Sue who runs it (and knows her stuff) and she showed me an E46 after it ingested its swirlflaps. All I can say is get them done as it's not pretty......
