I have a buckled alloy lying around that I would like to sell.
I replaced the alloy a while ago. My original plan was to get the alloy repaired and keep as spare, but I just want to sell it now.

It is a genuine 18" front MV3 alloy and slightly buckled.

Does anyone know of any alloy retailers who buy used alloys in Herts or Liverpool area?

yeah i thought about ebay, but not sure if i can be bothered. Would rather just take it somewhere and just get the cash.

I know of a couple of places, but I would need to post to them, which means losing at least a tenner, maybe more.

What are you hoping to get for it? To be honest a 2nd hand, buckled alloy wheel isn't worth much more than scrap. A lot of work and skill is needed to straighten one and refurbish them safely. Straight ones are desired though, as recommended ebay might be the safest and quickest bet, just factor in the cost of carriage.

Yeah I know they're not worth much.
My original plan was to just get them repaired then carry on using them, but then I decided to just buy replacement genuine used alloys instead as seemed more cost effective.

I've just sold a buckled rear and front earlier this morning. I had to drive a round trip of 120miles to do it. I only got £110 for the both of them, but that's kinda what I was expecting.
I still have one more buckled front, but it's at my place in Liverpool. I was hoping I could just take it somewhere nearby when I go back home next weekend.

But yes, eBay is an option. I could always just contact the guy who bought mine from me and send them to him ( cant be arsed driving it again).

    Cheers guys
